It’s SeptFest at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver! Celebrate the spirit of ‘suds’ with the kick-off to the city’s 3rd Annual Denver Beer Fest. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 24th to savor cold, craft brews on the hotel’s outdoor Plaza Level Terrace with festivities featuring an array of beer provided by Great Divide Brewery Company and Oskar Blues, house-made Denver Pale Ale brats and oversized pretzels, with live music by Denver’s own Kentucky Parlor Pickers. Tickets are $45, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Colorado Restaurant Association Education Fund for student scholarships. We hope to see you there. Cheers!

Thanks again to everyone who came out to the Marquis Show. It was quite the hoedown!

The Pickers have been writing tunes and keeping busy! We just added a new page to our website called “Shindigs”. If you would like to book a gig, please check that out and get in touch.

Please join the Pickers for their very first venue-show in Denver! We are tickled as babies to play some of our newest selections as well as the standards you’ve come to know and love. In addition, we will be opening for a very special artist: Jesse Malin. We’ve done some researchin’ and love what we hear. Links to his music posted below. We will be opening, so please come early.

For the measly cost of 10 dollars you will be supporting a touring act, watching the pickers pluck their fiddles and possibly partaking in some moonshine! Ladies, come with your dance cards ready to be filled.

    All the Best,
    Cakeboy
